Miami Dolphins

Jarvis Landry, Sports Illustrated Dog Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins

The hometown team is taking on massive amounts of shade in an otherwise doldrum June afternoon. It started with former wide receiver Jarvis Landry taking a shot at the quarterback play he worked with in Miami.

Landry was quick to backpedal from the statement heaping praise on both Ryan Tannehill and Jay Cutler.

Regardless, its never a good luck to speak ill about a player and team that essentially turned Landry into the highest paid slot receiver in the league.

Criticism wasn’t preserved just for the Dolphins’ quarterback. Sport Illustrated published pre-season record predictions today – and it wasn’t favorable for the ‘Phins.

The ongoing deterioration of national media outlets continues in this blurb offered by someone named Jonathan Jones. Perpetuating the horrifically lazy take that Mike Pouncey was an integral piece that the Dolphins could ill-afford to lose, he slates the Dolphins at 3-13 – a game worse than Andrew Luck’s Indianapolis Colts.

We may be more optimistic than most at Locked On Dolphins, but we’ll always base our findings in deeply navigated research. That’s more than most of these tired prediction pieces can say.
